#TheLifeOfJmsCrwly - Long weekend, Charlotte’s birthday and a day trip = A Long Ass Blog!

These past few days have been pretty busy! Ever since Friday really and after yesterday I was exhausted, hence why this is being posted today instead of yesterday! (I think I got sunstroke, I was ill when I got in) There is a fair bit to blog about, so let’s start from Saturday! All I did Friday was take Charlotte to pizza hut! (Be prepared for a wall of text)
So, Saturday Charlotte and I went into Bournemouth to look round the shops and Charlotte also needed to speak to her manager about a possible promotion at work! But that’s not my place to say anything about that! After looking round the shops for a while, Charlotte spotted a really pretty pair of shorts, they had like a daisy pattern on with a royal blue background and they were kinda floaty looking, So I bought her them as she said she liked them, we then went hunting for a top for her to wear along with those shorts for the little drinking session that she planned later that evening. In the end I bought her a little white vest top thing? with like a rouged pattern around the neck.
Anyway, after this nice little day shopping, we went to Nandos! which is the best restaurant in the entire world might I add We had a double chicken breast wrap each! along with a side of red pepper dip and hummus dip with some pitta bread. Then, when we possibly couldn’t fit any more in we ordered the Mango Sorbet and the Vanilla Ice Cream with Spicy Toffee Sauce and they were both amazing! Whilst we were in Nandos, Two AFC Bournemouth football players came in and had dinner next to us! Now, Charlotte nor I really care about football, but Charlotte kept staring! I think she was starstruck, not that AFC Bournemouth players are that famous or anything.
We then, went out for a few drinks with a small group of Charlotte’s friends in a local bar/club it was all quite nice and chilled until one of our friends got a bit over excited! even though the antics were hilarious to watch, I cannot speak a word of it! :( which is such a fucking shame it was funny to watch. Anyway that was Saturday! pretty long day, Well done if you’re still reading!
Now, Sunday was a quiet day, I went round Charlotte’s to spend some of her birthday with her, we ended up walking into Christchurch where they had Turkish market going on, now, these Turkish markets are amazing, if you ever see one, go to the food stall and ask for some Baklava, It’s not much to look at but oh my god! It’s one of the best things you will ever taste! it’s so sweet and sticky and crunchy and…NOM! Anyway, we ventured round some shops, got a Costa then walked into my new place of work and I bought Charlotte a new iPhone case, It was a Moshi iGlaze incase anyone wondered, These cases are one of the most elegant cases for the iPhone 4 I’ve ever seen, between us we’ve had 3!
Monday we went to the cinema to see Bridesmaids, it wasn’t as good as I expected it to be but one of the side stories in it was pretty cute, It’s still worth a watch, but unless you really want to go see it, wait till it comes out on dvd! it will save you money! Anyway, when the film finished, we hopped on the bus back to Charlotte’s house from where I walked to Bournemouth hospital and for the duration of the 40 minute walk, I got bit by every bug I passed, I got in and I was so ITCHY!
Anyway! Tuesday If you read any of this blog read this! Going to Swanage was probably the best thing I’ve done in a while, It was such a pretty place to be! the only minor issue was the old bastard at the bus queue calling us queue jumpers and pushing infront of us, I’m sorry since when did sitting down on a bench mean you’re in a queue?, uhm, fuck off please? When we got there we went straight to a shop called butterfingers for some pastries as an old gentleman on the bus suggested we go there if it was our first time going to Swanage! so we bought a pasty and a cheese and bacon turnover and went to find somewhere to sit down to eat out little pack lunch we brought! Then we went to look round the shops, it was all really cute, then we went down an alley way and it opened up into a load of little outlets! It felt like we went into Diagon Alley from Harry Potter!
After this we went and sat on the beach for a little rest. (we had some time to kill too.) So, whilst sat on the beach we decided to go fatty hunting… which was literally just laughing at this one woman who must of been morbidly obese in a swimsuit…it wasn’t a pretty sight, but it was funny to watch her stumble about on the beach looking all blimp-like.
Then, we went to Funland amusements! and oh shit, they weren’t kidding! those grabbers are so much fun, picking up a toy then casually opening and closing the grabber again hoping I wouldn’t see… it’s a con! But I guess it’s all in the fun of it and we did have fun, on the coin machines and a few grabbers those coin machines are addicting things!
We proceeded to look round some more shops and check the bus times again before we went to find some dinner, We walked into a pet shop called “Pet Luv” it should have been called “Pet Hate” or “Pets ‘r’ Savage” the reason being that in one of the fish tanks, there was a dead fish… and the other fish were swarming around it and eating it! the main culprit of eating the fish had devil eyes I swear, It was a creepy fish… seriously creepy!
So, after watching this traumatic event of a fish being eaten, It reminded us that we too could go and eat some fish, Charlotte’s parents suggested we go to “The Fish Plaice” when we walked past it during the day it was teaming with customers, Although to me, It didn’t live up to expectations, It was nice, but then again so is the fish and chippy near me but still, who doesn’t enjoy a good fish and chippy!?
We then went and got the open topped bus home, it was really weird being on a bus with no roof, I had to sit on the outside as Charlotte was scared, Little did I know that although being on the outside edge of an open topped bus means you get to see fantastic views, you will also be suspect to vigilante trees that will swipe you without warning and the odd wasp that will fly into your face. All that aside the views were pretty amazing, you got to see everything! rolling hillsides, beaches, clifftops and some really amazing houses! You wouldn’t normally get to see that kinda stuff sat inside a closed bus.
Anyway, That concludes my weekend! Sorry for the wall of text, But I like writing #thelifeofjmscrwly more than any other blog i do!
there isn’t a #minecraftwednesday today as the server I play on has merged with another server and I’m throwing my toys out the pram cause the two servers that joined are meant to be enemies… aha
